BIMTECHIANS SKILLING UP FOR SUMMER INTERNSHIP
A full one-day seminar with internal faculty and industry experts were held in the campus to prepare 412 first year PGDM students for their summer internship from mid-April to mid-June 2015. Inputs were given on the dos and don’ts for students while they are with companies, the basic rules of good research, as well as detailed specialization-wise guidelines by industry experts through interactive Q&A sessions. This was supplemented with few seniors presenting a gist of their summer internship reports and problem solving skills used by them while on their SIP period. At the conclusion of the seminar, a 2 Volume Manual on the subject was also distributed to students as a practical guide for them for carrying out successful SIPs.
