Sushil Baranwal and Manya Jha, students of BIMTECH batch 2014 – 2016, started their venture Morphedo while they were still in the 2nd year of the course. They utilized the time allocated for Summer Internship for their initial research. Their company was incorporated as Morphedo Technologies Pvt. Ltd. on June 9, 2015.
Morphedo is now an Indian Govt. recognized startup and is being supported by Nexus. Nexus is a body established in India, jointly by US Govt. and University of Texas, and runs in collaboration with FICCI.
Morphedo is an online 3D printing services platform for rapid prototyping and customized part manufacturing for businesses. This platform makes new product development process efficient by reducing cost and time by approximately 70% and 90% respectively in comparison with traditional manufacturing processes. It provides customers with one stop online access to evaluate and purchase various 3D Printing and Designing services. This saves customers the time and the money which they would have spent on exploring different 3D printing techniques and their standalone service providers who operate in silos.
From a small size prototype to a large size functional part, Morphedo 3D prints it all. It offers 3D printing services in 20+ material and 5+ different types of 3D printing techniques which can cater to all 3D printing requirements.
They are currently targeting industries like Robotics, Drones, IOT Devices, Packaging, Industrial Manufacturing, Automotive and Aerospace. They have served clients like Indian Air Force and Nestle R&D, Reckitt Benckiser to name a few. Morphedo became fully functional only after founders graduated from BIMTECH in April 2016 and are now into early revenue stage of the business, building strategies to scale up and acquire new customers.
