Admission Categories

  1. General Category: 90 percent seats in all courses will be filled through general category. For distribution of seats, please visit http://bimtech.ac.in/admissions/. Regular admission is granted to those applicants who have fulfilled all the admission requirements and whose names appear in the merit list of successful applicants.
  2. ESCS (Economically & Socially Challenged Students Category): SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Minority Communities (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Zoroastrians/Parsis & Jains) – 5 percent seats are reserved for the candidates coming from ESCS category to bring social diversity in class.

Note: 5% seats reserved for ESCS category will be opened for general category, if not filled by ESCS category.

45 seats are reserved under Supernumerary category for People of Indian Origin (PIO)/Foreign Nationals (FN)-International/SAARC Nationals/Gulf Quota/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) in PGDM program only where candidates will have to submit proof of their status as PIO/OCI/Foreign Nationals/Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf Countries.

Note: Admission under this category will be done on merit basis among applicants of Supernumerary category only.

5 percent seats will be filled through Corporate Sponsored/NRI/NRI Sponsored Category.

Eligibility for Corporate Sponsored/NRI/NRI Sponsored Category

Minimum 50 percent marks in Graduation. Candidates appearing in Final Year Graduation Examination (1st attempt) in Summer 2025 can also apply. Such candidates will have to produce final year result of Graduation with min. 50% marks in aggregate on or before 31st October 2025 failing which their provisional admission will be automatically cancelled.

For being eligible under different categories, the applicant will have to produce the following at the time of submission of first instalment of fee.

Additional Documents Required

  1. A sponsorship letter from the company in the format prescribed by the Institute and uploaded on our website. (Sponsorship Letter)
  2. The sponsoring company must have an annual turnover of Rs. 10 crore minimum as reflected in the latest financial statements available. (Audited copy of the Balance Sheet/Profit & Loss Account of preceding financial year i.e. 2023-24). Self-attested photocopy to be submitted, failing which the first installment of fee will not be accepted.
  1. Candidates will have to submit Sponsoring NRI’s sponsorship letter as per format prescribed by the Institute and uploaded on our website. (Sponsorship Letter)
  2. Passport copy and visa or evidence of NRI status all duly attested by a qualified notary or Indian mission/consulate or Indian Chamber of Commerce in the country of residence or by consulate/mission/ embassy of the concerned country in India is required.
  3. Proof of income-minimum 50,000 USD per annum income of the sponsorer will also have to be produced.

  2. Admission under this category will be done on merit basis among applicants of Supernumerary category only.

The candidate shall be required to submit any one of the following in support of his/her claim for seats under ESCS Category:

  1. For Minority Community certificate, candidate can submit any one of the following:
    • Self declaration as per Format I (Self declaration Format)
    • Caste/Community certificate issued by Religious Authority.
  2. For admission under EWS Category, the family income of the applicant from all sources should not be more than Rs. 8,00,000/- p.a. The candidate shall be required to submit any one of the following:
    • The applicant’s family should hold an income certificate issued by the SDM or any other officer authorized in this behalf by the Revenue department stating that the total income of the family is not more than Rs. 8,00,000/- p.a.
    • Income tax assessment order of most recent year which is issued to a person after filing ITR.

Note : Documents for all the categories to be produced at the time of submission of first instalment of tuition fee failing which the applicant will be considered under ‘General Category’ of Merit seats as per the eligibility.

*Additional weightage will also be given to candidates who have done Graduation from NIRF ranked (preceding year NIRF ranking) top 100 Colleges/ Universities/ Engineering Colleges.

** Weightage for work experience would ideally be given to a candidate only if he/she had worked in executive or supervisory role for a minimum period of one year as on 31/01/2025, in a registered company having turnover of Rs. 10 crores or more in the preceding financial year i.e. 2023-24.

However, management reserves the right to relax this particular norm on the merit of the case, if the candidate is from a start-up, entrepreneurial or social organization.

#For getting regional weightage, submission of valid proof of residence is must. The domicile certificate issued by a competent authority or copy of passport/Aadhar etc. can be submitted as an additional document.

Verification of Documents

All certificates, mark sheets and degrees submitted by applicants for seeking admission to any program in BIMTECH will be sent for verification to the issuing authorities. Admission secured through fake or manipulated testimonials will be cancelled immediately and no refund of any fee paid will be due.

The application processing fee can be paid through Credit Card/ Debit Card/Bank Transfer through the designated payment gateway.

Selection Process

Candidates who apply online for the admission will be shortlisted on the basis of

  • CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT score (as per the eligibility)
  • Past Academic Record

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the selection process which consists of Extempore & Personal Interview (PI).

The candidates would be required to upload their entrance test percentiles (CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT) the moment results are out.

Interview Mode

Please note the selection process will be conducted in:

  • Online mode
  • Offline at BIMTECH Greater Noida campus

BIMTECH reserves the right to change the mode of interview/selection process, without assigning any reasons.

Applicants should be aware that fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee either shortlisting for interview or final offer of admission by BIMTECH. The decisions of the BIMTECH Admissions Committee are final, and no further communication on this issue will be entertained.

Admission Offer & Fee Submission

Final selection list is prepared taking into account the candidate’s:

  1. Past academic performance
  2. Entrance test scores (CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT)
  3. Performance in Personal Interview based on the respective weightages
  4. Work Experience (if applicable)
  5. Other parameters, wherever applicable, as per the weightages table

Admission offer will be based on a composite score arrived after the assessment has been made during the selection process.

The result will be announced through the student’s dashboard and will be notified through mail. Applicants are advised to check the updates on their student dashboard at regular intervals.

While applying online, applicants are advised to provide their complete postal address and active email ID & mobile number which should be valid for receiving important communications.

The selected candidates have to deposit the 1st instalment of fee by the last date mentioned in the offer letter & subsequent instalments as per the instructions given by the institute.

Please note institute does not entertain any request for extension of deadline for submission of 1st instalment of fee.

The admission is subject to verification of the original documents and approval of the graduation degree by UGC/AICTE/AIU.

Withdrawal & Refund Policy

As per AICTE guidelines, in the event of an applicant withdrawing before the starting of the program, the wait listed candidates would be given admission against the vacant seat. In such a case the entire fee collected from the student, after a deduction of the processing fee of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only), shall be refunded and returned to the candidate withdrawing from the program. However, should a student leave the program after commencement of the course and if the seat consequently falling vacant is not filled by another candidate, for whatever reason, only the refundable component of fee shall be returned to the candidate.

Beginning of Session

Academic session of all the programmes is likely to start in June/July 2025.

Education Loan

State Bank of India, Axis Bank, HDFC Credila Financial Services (An HDFC Ltd. Company), IDFC FIRST Bank, Bank of Baroda, Yes Bank & Kuhoo (Online Student Loan Platform) are providing education loans on priority basis subject to fulfillment of their terms and documentation requirement. BIMTECH is a reputed name in Business Education and almost all banks are extending loans to our admitted candidates. However, Institute has no active role in arranging loan for applicants.

IMPORTANT REGULATIONS

  1. If a student admitted to the Institute is found to have given any false information or suppressed some information, his/her admission will be cancelled and fees will not be refunded to such candidate.
  2. The Application Fee once paid is non-refundable.
  3. The Institute does not take responsibility for delay in transit involved in receipt and delivery of any communication between the Institute and the applicant.
  4. All disputes are subject to the legal jurisdiction of District Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh (India).
  5. Those who are given provisional admission due to non-declaration of their graduation result are required to submit the marks sheet up to 31st October 2025, failing which the candidate will cease to be a student of the Institute. In such a case, the general security deposit alone will be refunded.
  6. Students who are not able to secure 50% aggregate marks in their graduation exam after the admission is granted, will have to withdraw from the programme and no fee except general security deposit will be refunded.
  7. A student should observe all the rules and regulations, framed from time to time by the Institute. Breach of any of these may render him/her liable for penalty under the rules and/or expulsion from the Institute.
  8. All BIMTECH Programmes offered are compulsorily residential. Staying in the Institute’s hostel for complete 2 years is mandatory and will not be changed under any circumstances.

The Institute reserves the right to alter course content of the programmes, rules and regulations, teaching schedule, tuition fee payable, boarding and lodging fees and/or any other matter pertaining to its working. The Director’s decision will be deemed as final in all such matters.

FAQs

BIMTECH is AACSB accredited institute – joins an ivy league of top globally recognized B-schools. The US based accrediting body i.e. Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) Accreditation is considered to be a Gold standard in management education.

All the four courses are approved by the regulatory authority AICTE and accredited by the highest national accreditation body, National Board of Accreditation (NBA). These are also approved by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) for MBA equivalence.

PGDM (IBM) course is also accredited by globally recognized Chartered Insurance Institute of UK (CII-UK). BIMTECH has a dual degree programme in association with CII-UK.

MBA & PGDM are both Post Graduate Courses in Management. In India, only universities, be it central/state/or private, are authorized to conduct MBA courses. The autonomous institutions approved by AICTE offer PGDM. From the point of employability, there is no differentiation. PGDM courses are normally found much more flexible and hence close to the industry/recruiter’s need.

The admission process of the Two-Year Full-Time PGDM Programmes is as follows:

  • Short-listing of candidates on the basis of CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT Score

Supernumerary category is meant for People of Indian Origin (PIO)/Foreign Nationals (FN)-International/SAARC Nationals/Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries (Gulf Quota)/Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) in PGDM program only. Candidates will have to submit proof of their status as PIO/OCI/Foreign Nationals-International/SAARC Nationals/Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf Countries if applying under Supernumerary category.

45 seats are reserved under this category for PGDM program only which is over and above the approved intake of 300 seats.

No, there is no management quota. Admissions take place strictly on the basis of merit.

Please note: DO NOT TAKE YOUR BOARD RULES OR OTHER RULES USED BY YOU EARLIER WHILE CALCULATING PERCENTAGE. YOU ARE TO USE THE ABOVE RULE WHICH CLEARLY STATES THAT ALL SUBJECTS INCLUDING YOUR OPTIONAL SUBJECTS ARE TO BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION WHILE CALCULATING YOUR 10th AND 12th STANDARD PERCENTAGE.

For example, if you have studied 7 subjects INCLUDING ALL optional subjects, all 7 subjects must be taken into consideration irrespective of your board rules and regulations.

  1. Please follow your University/Institution stated rule for conversion of CGPA into percentage.
  2. In case your University/Institution does not have any scheme or rule to convert CGPA into percentage, the same can be done by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100.

You can edit your application by logging in to BIMTECH Admissions Portal (student dashboard). You will not be able to edit the name, registered email-id & phone number, apart from these you can edit other details if the payment of the application form has not been made. You can get the application form edited through admission team also by sending an email on [email protected], if the payment has already been made.

The Selection Process will be conducted after CAT/XAT result. Please note the selection process will be in online mode and only offline at BIMTECH Greater Noida campus.

Candidates need to update their entrance test percentiles (CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT) in the online application form after the same are declared for the shortlisting process & preparation of final selection list based on merit.

You need to update test (CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT) score through student dashboard (BIMTECH Admissions Portal) after the same are declared. After submitting the test scores on the portal, BIMTECH will verify the scores from the testing agencies. The official score card needs to be submitted in case you have got an admission offer.
You can choose to submit more than one score. BIMTECH will choose the BEST score based on the eligibility before giving out the final admission offer.

The cut-off is not pre-defined. It depends upon the quality & number of applications received and varies from year to year for different courses. Please note, the candidates are only shortlisted on the basis of below given scores for further selection process. Final merit is prepared on the basis of different parameters and admission offer is given based on the merit of the candidate. Weightages Table can be followed for details of the weightages given while preparing final merit.

The merit list for admission is prepared on the basis of past academic profile, CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT score as applicable for different programmes and the performance in selection process. Some additional weightage is also given to the eligible candidates on the basis of their work experience.

The shortlisted and selected candidates are informed by email, SMS, WhatsApp and through student dashboard (BIMTECH Admissions Portal).

Final selection list would be declared in March 2025. The selected candidates are to deposit the first instalment of tuition fee within the given time frame as mentioned in the offer letter to ensure their admission, failing which the offer is passed on to the wait listed candidates.

Institute does not entertain any request for extension of the deadline for submission of fee.

Academic session of all the programmes is likely to start in Jun/Jul 2025.

All the programmes offered at BIMTECH are residential and hence the admitted students are to compulsorily stay in the hostels of the Institute. BIMTECH is located in a sprawling, fully wired, air-conditioned, Wi-Fi residential campus in Greater Noida, on the out skirts of New Delhi, the capital city of India. The campus environment is highly conducive to academic learning. The Institute has both on & off campus hostel accommodation with similar facilities. Girl students are provided accommodation in the hostel located in campus. Rooms are provided on single or twin sharing basis depending upon the number and composition of the students admitted at the sole discretion of the management.

The current lodging and boarding charges for the hostel, security deposit and medical insurance which is over and above the tuition fee are as follows:

Final selection of shortlisted candidates is done by partner institute. Based on the state policy, the partner institutes offer merit based scholarships. BIMTECH also applies for grants to partner Institutes /Universities and many times, it is sanctioned. The grants are passed on to the meritorious students to pursue their dreams.
