ON THE JOB TRAINING : The objective of OJT is to enhance student-industry interaction so that students can acquire the experience of a Retail store, which will bridge the gap between academic learning and field learning. This will also help students gain knowledge and experience in the functioning of a Retail Store in real-time. It is a four (4) credit course where the training of students is initiated through tie-ups between the institute/program and various retail organizations.
INDUSTRIAL VISIT: Visits to various industries are arranged to enable the students have first-hand knowledge of the procedures and formalities in the industries. An integral part of PGDM (RM) is the industry interactions and experts visits that are regularly organized throughout the course duration.
The institute started this program tailored to the needs of the burgeoning Retail Industry in 2004.
It is an initiative to create a new generation of smart retail professionals of international caliber.
